Just as the three hospitals are administered within a single management structure, the various research activities at the three CHUQ establishments come under the same scientific leadership. In addition, all CRCUQ researchers abide by the regulatory framework governing the organization of research and good research practices at CHUQ.

Management and day-to-day operations are the responsibility of CRCHUQ’s director and the executive board, the center’s top level management body. The board is made up of the director, who acts as chair, the assistant director of clinical research, the vice-dean of research at the faculty of medicine, the directors of the eight research areas, and a student chosen by the student body. This puts the research area directors at the heart of the Center’s decision-making.
